I have a beautiful home that has a very Large Window right across from the dinning room table. This Window allowed me to have a wonderful view when I ate my breakfast, however the Light from the Sun that would come through this window was almost blinding. This would leave me sitting with my back to the view and wishing I could look out and relax. As time went by I noticed that my Wood Table was starting to fade and dry out from the damage the sun was causing when it was coming through the Uncovered Window. I never really wanted to have a Window Shade installed inside my home because I did not want it to take away from the design of my room.
How did my life change? I was talking with a neighbor you had just had an Awning installed over their same window, and I was surprised to hear that they had been having the same problem for years as well. They gave me the number for Classic Home Improvement Products and advised me to call and tell them my problem. I went online before calling to research a little. I found that the company is a Family Run Business, they are Licensed with the States Contractors Board and they are a member of the BBB. I also read their Testimonials and was pleased to see that there were so many people who had a great experience with this company along with my neighbor. When I called Classic Home Improvement Products, I told the girl who answered the phone that I was having a problem with Sun not only blinding me in the morning, but also eating up my very expensive table. She gave me my options for how to block the sun while still be able to see out each morning, and I scheduled my measurement appointment.
Awnings
The rep that was sent to my house was polite, clean and had knowledge of all the products the offered. He even took his shoes off when entering my front door without being asked! The rep began showing me my Design and Fabric Options for a Fixed or Retractable Awning. I had decided that I did not really want an Awning as my neighbors look great I did not think it was right for me. The Rep went into details about an Exterior Sunshade, and showed me the Solar Screen Materials. This was something I could get used to as it was a Screen Fabric that almost matched the color of my home and I could still See Through It. The Solar Mesh I choose was a 90% Solar which would cut out about 90% of the Sun’s Solar Rays.
I waited 3 long and anxious weeks for the installers to return with my newly ordered Motorized Drop Roll, and when they arrived I was thrilled. The installers were also very polite and careful with my home. They cleaned up everything they brought with them, and the only evidence they left was my perfectly Installed Motorized Drop Roll. I now spend each morning facing my window while eating my breakfast with my Drop Roll Rolled Down! Also the reduction of the amount of Sun allowed through the Mesh has saved the Interior of my home from the constant Sun Damage that had been occurring.
