You get a much clearer view with our StowAway screens than any other brand on the market
If you have had the chance to see our competitors Screens at your local Do It Yourself store any recent Home Shows then you may have noticed that there is a thick line near the pull bar on the mesh itself. This is the seam that they are using to attach the Screen Mesh to the Spline before insert the Spline into the pull bar. This is not only unattractive, but will cause the mesh to be weaker in the long run. This portion of the Mesh receives that most stress since it is what is being pulled on when you open and close your Retracting Screen.
StowAway Retractable Screens do not have this seam at the pull bar. We do this to make sure that your Invisible Screen will be truly Invisible, and to ensure that the mesh will be strong enough to endure the everyday use they are designed for. Using the V Clip as a means of attaching the mesh results in fewer Rescreens and promotes the durability of the Screen.
StowAway Retractable Screen Door
StowAway screens are built with a V-clip adaption that seals the screen mesh to the clip. This clip is then inserted into the pullbar for added strength! In addition, this awesome technology eliminates the unsightly view of a rubber seal along the vertical edge of the pullbar that usually goes in about 1″. More view and better looking!
